Use Metallic Powders from world class turning Jimmy Clewes to accent your turning or woodworking project. Choose from 6 different metallic colors. Fill voids in your project material, whether natural or made by you, with this Metallic Powder to bring a new beauty to the finished work. Or mix with epoxy or lacquer to make it into a paste and use as a grain filler.
Jimmy Clewes Metallic Powder...
• won't dull your tools
• sands easily
• formulated to be highly oxidation and tarnish resistant
• can be applied using CA, Epoxy, a Heat Gun, or mixed with a solvent based finish
• has an unlimited shelf life if stored properly -- Keep dry with the lid firmly closed
• comes in 1 ounce jars
Quick Application Directions:
Mix in with epoxy and spread into the void. I find the best results occur if you leave the epoxy/metallic powder mix below the finished level of your project and use straight epoxy to fill above the finished level and sand down to flush. The metallic powder looks best when it has a clear "cap" that is sanded. Thus avoiding sanding the actual metallic powder.
