This chrome bottle opener would make a great gift for father's day or any occasion. Very simple to make.

Simply mark the center of your blank (1"+ x 5" blank is recommended), drill a 3/8" hole about 1-5/16" deep, mount the blank between centers on your lathe, and turn to your desired profile. After turning, epoxy the threaded post into the 3/8" hole.
