This pen kit comes with an actual printed computer circuit board wrapped around the tube and embedded in clear acrylic resin. See the photos below for close ups of the circuit board and the raw tube. This pen is amazing. The capacitors and other electrical components are real and the clear acrylic gives the pen an great 3-D depth. The joint where the circuit board overlaps itself is very minor and you can see it in the photo. The clip almost complete covers the joint. A great pen for any techie out there.
