The slim kit is the most popular kit. It is easy to make, uses smaller pieces of wood, and the customers (especially women) really like its slim size.

- 7mm Drill Bit
- Slim Pen Extra Tube Set (pen only)
- Slim Pencil Extra Tube Set (pencil only)
- Slim Bushings #1A
These pens also use the following supplies which are available on the website under Pen Making Supplies:
- 1/2" Pen Mill with 7mm Pilot
- “A” sized mandrel shaft (the normal “7mm” mandrel)
- Cross Style Refills
