How to use:
- Take an appropriate sized acrylic or wood blank. The inserts can be shortened with a belt or circle sander, and your turned material can extended beyond the end of the insert (the part beyond the insert will not be supported by the insert).
- Using a jaw chuck mount your scrap of material on your lathe and drill a 1/4" hole for the core. Then turn and finish a profile on your material. After you've turned your desired profile part off the turned tip.
- Test fit the insert of the core into the hole you drilled and glue it into place. The connection end of the core will fit into most 510 style connections. There are no established standards for e-cigarette connections so there is some variance from one maker to the next.
