Use the Novus #3 when you still have some heavier scratches to remove. If you have gone through all of the MicroMesh grits, DO NOT use #3. NOVUS #3 is more coarse than the final MicroMesh grits.

To use:
- Apply NOVUS #3 to a clean soft cloth and apply to the blank while hand turning the lathe.
- Allow the polish to dry on the blank.
- Turn on the lathe and using another clean soft cloth hold the cloth against the blank to polish.
