Description:
While Fairway Trap arrived from seeing sand traps dotting a beautiful green fairway (why are they always right where we're likely to hit? It is almost like they were put there on purpose and aren't natural), these blanks could also be a trap to the craftsman. They are super cool and look great, but the mesh layers are really tight and could easily be turned away. Bear Tooth Woods will try to pull the worst offenders but buying these blanks will be a bit of a crapshoot (maybe a new name there) on how the final product will look. If your product is on the shorter or thinner side you might want to try a different blank.

This sample was turned from a 3/4" x 5" piece of Fairway Trap acrylic acetate. It was turned to approximately 5/8" diameter. The turned sample is solid, it does not have a hole drilled in it, nor a tube. So its appearance in a finished pen may be quite different depending on transparency.
