This pen blank is at least 3/4" square x 5" long and features a wood blank with crossed cuts filled with colored resin. The cuts do not go all the way through on the blank (this is done so the blank stays intact when it is cut), but as soon as you start turning, the backing wood will turn away and the cuts will go all the way through the blank. The photo shows a finished Churchill pen kit with a similar blank.
