How To Order

You can order from Bear Tooth Woods by using the online ordering system or by placing an order over the phone. The website is by far the best method to place an order. I can be difficult to reach on the phone, and I do not know the inventory status of many items on the site. See below for more information on print catalog, backorders and the benefits of creating an account.

Online Orders

Ordering by using the online ordering system is the best way to place your order. Bear Tooth Woods was designed around the online ordering and this method has many benefits.

The online catalog has a dynamic inventory that is constantly updated. This dynamic inventory will inform you if an item is not in stock, or does not have enough stock to meet your order. This ensures that 99% of the orders we receive are completely in stock and ready to be shipped.

Ordering online is also the quickest way to place an order. The online shopping system is streamlined for your use and mine. Sometimes orders placed late in the morning by this method will still be mailed the same day.

Phone Orders

Bear Tooth Woods is a single man operation (Robin my wife does help, but she has a full time job) so it can be difficult to get in touch with me. When I am available, I will do my best to assist you with your order.

Print Catalog

Bear Tooth Woods does not have a printed catalog. The savings from not having a printed catalog are passed on to you by our lower prices. The best way to get a printed catalog is to go to www.beartoothwoods.com/quickorder and print that page.

Backorders

My online ordering system does not allow for backorders. A personal frustration is placing an order and not receiving all that I ordered. Therefore the online ordering system has a dynamic inventory that comes close to ensuring that everything is in stock. On rare occasions something will actually be out of stock, or of insufficient quantity to fulfill your order even when the online system says differently.  I generally refund that portion of your payment instead of putting it on backorder.

Returns

Returns are accepted at anytime, but you must use the contact us form to get the return address and instructions. Returns from purchases older than 1 month will be in the form of a store credit.

Benefits of Creating an Account

While you can order without creating an account, there are substantial benefits to creating an account. These include:

• Speed up ordering - You do not have to re-enter all of your personal information when you place future orders.
• Notifications of sales and new items - new items are constantly added and certain items are placed on sale. I generally send an email every week or less.
• Permanent Cart - Any products added to your online cart remain there until you remove them, or check them out.
• Address Book - Add different addresses to ship your items. Great for sending gifts, or adding a work/winter address.
• Order History - View your history of purchases that you have made with us and see the status of your recently placed orders.
