Twilight Rose started out as a test cast when Tori was trying out some new pigments. She wanted to see how the darker, moodier colors worked with each other. The final result was a rich, dark blank with a subtle shimmer that added a moody but sophisticated look to the final turning project.

Color Shift blanks are a combination of Color Shift and (sometimes) Regular Mica powders. Color shift colors will be marked with “Color shift” label in base color description.

These blanks will be more transparent than the Color Storm, Glitter Swirl, Lava Lamp and Lava Explosion blanks, especially on thinner profile kits. The paint color you use will affect the final look of the finished project. See paint comparison photos for example.

Our Alumilite blanks have that butter-smooth turn that you've come to expect from Alumilite. When finishing the blank, we've found that using a CA finish has given us the smoothest finish.
