Blanks measure 3/4"+ x 5"+. Multiple blanks are shown to illustrate variety. The blanks were lacquered before being photographed.

The "Reef" series of blanks are a new series of translucent blanks that feature wavy strands of alumilite ribbons set in a translucent (some are dyed but still translucent) background. You will definitely need to paint the interior of the blank after you drill it.

It is hard to capture the translucency of the blank in the photographs because of how dense the alumilite ribbons are. Take our word for it, the base of the blank is translucent material. It is easier to see the transparency as you turn it down on the lathe.

Additionally you can expect to find some small bubbles in these blanks. They should be small pin and pen point size and not very many.

These blanks are made in small batches here in the USA, so some variations in color from batch to batch should be expected. We will attempt to ship blanks from the same batch when possible. Please understand that some color variation is possible and the patterns will definitely vary.
